Ready to debut its luxury brand, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with Mitsui Fudosan Co. to open the first Bvlgari Hotel in Tokyo, Japan.

Inspired by the heritage of the world-famous jeweller, the Bvlgari brand aims to leave a mark in luxury hospitality and only builds in select cosmopolitan cities. For the first time, the hotel brand comes to the fast-paced capital of Japan with its ninth global property.

Scheduled to open in the large-scale, mixed-use development planned in the Tokyo Station area, Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo will occupy the top seven floors (39th to 45th) of an ultra-skyscraper within the Yaesu 2-Chome North District Category-I Urban Redevelopment Project.

Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo will be located walking distance to some of the most famous attractions in town such as the Imperial Palace and the shopping areas of Nihombashi and Ginza, and for business travellers, its proximity to the Tokyo Station and the financial districts makes it an ideal hub.

“Japan is such a strategic market where Bvlgari as a brand has been present for 30 years”

Jean Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari, made a statement about the brand’s presence in the country: “We are extremely proud to be able to announce the Bvlgari Hotel in Tokyo, as it will be another important step for the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts project. Japan is such a strategic market where Bvlgari as a brand has been present for 30 years.”

Offering 98 guest rooms, the hotel will highlight luxury suites and an exclusive Bvlgari Suite. In addition, there will be signature features such as the Il Bar, Il Ristorante, the Fireplace Lounge, all of them with outdoor terraces available for hotel guests, an Il Cioccolato store, and a Ballroom including a large outdoor space.

The 1,500 sqm Bvlgari Spa, will offer treatments, therapies and grooming for both men and women, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre and 25-metre indoor pool, will further elevate the experience of guests.
