Can I go on holiday in Croatia? Latest travel advice as it continues to be safe destination

After the National Civil Protection Headquarters of Croatia announced a new set of COVID-19 measures for bars and nightclubs, which shortened working hours until midnight and adopted the recommendation to stop working indoors and to only operate in open spaces, the epidemiological situation in Croatia is stable and favourable. The new recommendations also outline that the use of dance floors is not recommended, and dancefloor space in nightclubs is to be used for seating tables with a minimum distance of 1.5 metre.

Last week, the National Civil Protection Headquarters introduced new measures and recommendations for the operation of catering facilities with special emphasis on nightclubs with the aim of protecting the health of our guests from all parts of Europe, monitoring is continuous, and the situation is under control.

“The whole of tourism industry in Croatia is behaving responsibly and adhering to the prescribed epidemiological measures,” said Kristjan Staničić, general director of the Croatian National Tourist Board emphasising that the five million foreign tourists who have visited Croatian destinations so far this year confirms the fact that it is perceived as a safe tourist destination.

The Directorate of Civil Protection of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia, in cooperation with civil protection headquarters of cities and municipalities, is carrying out intensified monitoring of the implementation of decisions of the National Civil Protection Headquarters and recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health.
