Aer Lingus Regional is to increase its frequencies between Cardiff and Dublin this summer following high demand on the route.
The carrier, operated by Aer Arann, will increase to 17 flights a week (previously 14) from 1 July adding flights on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
It will add more connection times for those travelling to the US with pre- US Customs clearance at Dublin airport. More than 60,000 passengers were carried on the route in 2012.
“We are delighted to increase the frequency of our popular Cardiff – Dublin service offering our customers even better regional and transatlantic connectivity and greater value this summer,” said Simon Fagan, chief commercial officer at Aer Arann.
