Vueling has announced it will commence flights between Cardiff and Malaga next April.
The Spanish carrier will start operations on the direct flights on 2 April after the success of its Barcelona, Palma and Alicante routes from the airport.
“We are very pleased to meet Wales’ need for flights to Spain with the return of Vueling to Cardiff Airport. The airline’s quality has been well received by our market,” said Steve Hodgetts, commercial director at Cardiff Airport.
The announcement comes as First Minister Carwyn Jones said Cardiff Airport will be rebranded and refreshed next year with plans to revamp its terminal.
