Caribbean gears up for Taste of London
Destinations in the Caribbean are amongst those preparing for Taste of London in Regent’s Park next week. Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) alongside Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Grenada, St Kitts, Trinidad & Tobago and Virgin Holidays will host the Caribbean Pavilion from 21-24 June showcasing the best of its food and drink. Bermuda’s ‘Dark ‘n’ Stormy’ National drink will be available, as well as the BVI Pain Killer cocktail and rum from across the region. This will include St Kitts Brinley Gold rums, which are not distributed in the UK. Cookbooks, recipes and rum-inspired food from RUMblin’ will be there too, with Virgin Holidays taking holiday bookings on the stand.
Kids cookery classes launched at St James’s
St James’s Club. Antigua is to hold kids cookery classes this summer. Celebrity chef and writer Sophie Wright will host the daily events from 15 August, getting children to pick coconuts around the island, do blindfold tasting tests and make simple recipes and smoothies. Kids will also take a quiz and encouraged to tick off tasks in a list.
