Cathay Pacific has revealed plans to increase the number of flights it operates to North America.

On 26 March 2017, the airline will raise the frequency of its Hong Kong-Boston route to daily flights, with the addition of three more weekly services. Then two days later on 28 March, Cathay will increase the number of Vancouver flights it offers from 14 to 17 per week.

The additional Vancouver flights will be operated by Cathay’s brand new Airbus A350 aircraft.

“We are fully committed to the North America market and are pleased to strengthen our services to Boston and Vancouver to meet ongoing business and leisure travel demand. Our A350 aircraft has received excellent customer feedback and we are excited to offer this great product on our additional Vancouver service next year,” said Cathay’s chief executive, Ivan Chu.

Cathay currently operates more than 100 weekly passenger flights between Hong Kong North America. As well as Boston and Vancouver, the airline flies to Chicago, Los Angeles, New York (JFK and Newark), San Francisco and Toronto.
