Cathay Pacific has expanded its codeshare agreement with Flybe, offering new connections to destinations in the UK.
Last month, the Hong Kong-based carrier started codesharing on seven Flybe routes from Manchester, following the launch of Cathay’s new route to the city.
And now five more routes will be added to the partnership, offering new links to the UK from Paris and Amsterdam.
Commencing on 12 January 2015, Cathay will place its ‘CX’ code on Flybe’s services from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Birmingham and Southampton, and from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Birmingham, Manchester and Exeter.
This will allow Cathay’s passengers an alternative way to access the UK, without flying into London or Manchester.
Cathay already codeshares on Flybe’s flights from Manchester to Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Exeter, Inverness, the Isle of Man and Southampton.
