Cathay Pacific has offered a preview of its new lounge at Hong Kong International Airport.
The new Business Class Lounge at The Pier will cover 3,306m² of floorspace – approximately 1,000m² larger than the previous lounge – making it the largest of all Cathay Pacific’s lounges. It will be able to seat 550 people.
The new lounge is divided into “fast” and “slow” lanes. Passengers entering the fast lane will be offered a range of self-service F&B options, including its Noodle Bar concept. The slow lane meanwhile, features lounge seating overlooking the runway, including a range of ‘Solo Chairs’ that come equipped with reading lamps and side tables.
Other facilities at the lounge include a Tea House, where guests can sample a selection of teas served by a tea specialist, plus 14 shower cubicles and a “relaxation room” featuring loungers and footstools.
The new Business Class Lounge is available to first and business class passengers, as well as qualifying frequent flyers with oneworld airlines. It will open daily from 0530 until the last departure.
