Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) has continued its fleet expansion with the arrival of its fourth Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
The new long-haul aircraft, which touched down at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport on 18 May, comes equipped with 436 seats in a high density, single-class configuration.
The new twin-aisle jet becomes the CEB’s 52nd aircraft in a fleet that now includes four A330s, 30 A320s, 10 A319s and eight ATR72-500s. Between now and 2021, the Philippine low-cost carrier plans to take delivery of 11 more A320s, two A330s and 30 new A321neo aircraft.
The A330s will be used to expand the airline’s long-haul operations, which kicked off last year with services to Dubai.
