Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) has expanded its domestic network, following the recent delivery of new aircraft.
In July 2013 the Philippine low-cost carrier added two new Airbus A320 aircraft to its fleet, and this month it commenced additional flights on several domestic routes, including Kalibo, the gateway to Boracay, and Davao, on the southern island of Mindanao.
Effective 1 August, CEB added three extra weekly flights to its Manila-Kalibo route, taking the total frequency to 33 flights per week, then two days later it added an extra daily flight on the Manila-Cebu route, four more weekly flights between Manila and Davao, and four more weekly services between Manila and Legazpi, in the central region of Bicol.
On the same date, the airline also added three weekly flights between Cebu and Davao, two weekly services on the Cebu-Dumaguete route, and an extra three flights per week between Cebu and Tacloban. The Cebu-Legazpi has increased to four weekly flights, and will rise to five per week from 13 October 2013.
And later this month the growth will continue. From 24 August to 26 October 2013, CEB will add three more weekly frequencies on the Manila-Busuanga and Manila-Tagbilaran routes.
