Cebu Pacific launches Siem Reap flights
Cebu Pacific (CEB) has become the first airline to operate direct flights between Manila and Siem Reap.
The maiden flight took off from the Philippine capital on 19 April and the route will now be served three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) using a 180-seat Airbus A320.
Flights depart Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 1945, arriving into Siem Reap at 2130. The return service leaves Cambodia at 2230, arriving back into Manila 0210 the next day.
“We are happy that Cebu Pacific chose Cambodia to be part of its extensive Asia Pacific network, as the only airline to operate the Manila–Siem Reap route. These direct flights to Siem Reap will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the development of tourism and trade between our two countries, and to enhancing the connectivity of our airport. We know this is only the beginning of our cooperation with Cebu Pacific,” said Cambodia Airports CEO, Emmanuel Menanteau.
CEB now operates more than 90 flights per week from the Philippines to eight ASEAN destinations in six countries.
