Centara Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its latest property in Thailand, a new-build hotel in the city of Sri Racha, on Thailand’s eastern seaboard.
The Centara Sonrisa Residence & Suites Sriracha, which currently in the design phase, is being marketed as a “family-friendly four-star residence”.
Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2017, the new hotel will feature 150 rooms, a restaurant, fitness centre, swimming pool, spa, children’s facilities and an “outdoor leisure area”. There will also be a business centre and two meeting rooms able to cater for groups of up to 50 people.
Chris Bailey, Centara’s senior vice president of sales & marketing, said he expects the hotel to be a success as “we have a clear target market which fits very well with the facilities and location”.
Sri Racha is located in Thailand’s Chonburi province, between Bangkok and Pattaya.
