Centara Hotels & Resorts has rebranded a resort in the Thai resort area of Khao Lak, following a major renovation.
The Khao Lak Seaview Resort & Spa was signed by Centara in March this year, and has since undergone a THB70 million (US$2.2m) refurbishment. Following the completion of this upgrade, the upscale resort has been rebadged as the Centara Seaview Resort Khao Lak.
“Khao Lak is an exciting tourism destination and we are delighted to have this beautiful resort, in its prime beachfront location, in our portfolio,” said Centara’s CEO, Thirayuth Chirathivat. “Centara Seaview Resort Khao Lak has a great future as one of Khao Lak’s premier resorts.”
Located on the Andaman Sea coast, less than an hour’s drive from Phuket International Airport, the resort features 230 rooms, including a range of pool and beach villas.
The property offers several F&B outlets, including the Orchid, Talay Tong and Rim Nam restaurants, plus the Beer Garden and Time Out bars, while leisure facilities include a spa with seven treatment rooms, a sauna and steam room, fitness centre, tennis courts, squash court, water sports facilities, snooker, pool, table tennis and a kids’ club. The resort also has three large swimming pools.
For the MICE market, Centara Seaview Resort Khao Lak features a large conference room holding up to 400 guests.
Centara Seaview Resort Khao Lak becomes the first Centara-branded property in Khao Lak.
