Centara Hotels & Resorts has signed a management contract for a property in Mauritius. The new four-star resort will be the Thai hotel chain’s sixth international destination and is set to open in October 2012. “We identified a gap in the market for a quality 4 star beachfront family friendly resort offering a choice of Half Board of All-Inclusive stays blended with our unique version of Thai hospitality,” said Gerd Steeb, president of Centara Hotels & Resorts.
