Centara Hotels & Resorts has announced it will open a hotel in Bali next year. The new-built property will be named Centara Grand Nusa Dua Resort & Villas and will have its soft opening in December 2011, with a grand opening in 2012. It will have 76 rooms and 14 villas with one to three bedrooms. “We are delighted to be announcing our move into Bali, and regard this as an important part of our strategy for expanding overseas with the acquisition of high-quality resort properties in outstanding tourism destinations,” said Gerd Steeb, president of Centara Hotels & Resorts. “Bali represents our fifth overseas destination and follows the successful opening during the past 18 months of properties in the Maldives, Indian Himalayas, the Philippines and Vietnam.”
