Centra Coconut Beach Resort Samui will complete a major renovation by the end of the year, adding new facilities to the midscale property.
The resort, which became a member of the Centara portfolio in July 2012, has added a new wellness centre, Cense by Spa Cenvaree, plus a fitness centre. The beachside pool area has been remodelled with the addition of a swim-up bar in the lagoon pool and new outdoor seating for the lounge and restaurant, while the resort has also added bicycles and table tennis to its collection of leisure activities.
The hotel has also upgraded its safety facilities, The balcony railings for the second-floor rooms have been madechild-proof, a new fire alarm system has been installed and a new generator has been added for emergency power backup.
“This is an intimately scaled resort in a beautiful location and it has an air of exclusivity that we wish to enhance,” said Chris Bailey, Centara’s senior vice president for sales & marketing. “The upgrading and renovations make this a genuinely value-added resort that can be enjoyed by couples and families alike.”
Centra Coconut Beach Resort Samui is located on the secluded Thong Tanote Beach, on the southwestern tip of Koh Samui.
