China Eastern Airlines has increased the number of seats it operates to Bangkok, with the deployment of a new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on its flights from Shanghai.
From now until the end of August, China Eastern will upgrade one of its six daily Bangkok flights to the new 316-seat, three-class aircraft.
This marks the second time the airline has flown its B777 to the Thai capital, following a previous short-term deployment in February and March 2015 to cater for increased passenger demand during the Lunar New Year holiday period.
The B777 will be used to operate China Eastern’s 2140 departure from Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport.
China Eastern’s new B777 comes fitted with six private suites in first class, 52 flat-beds in business class and 258 seats in economy.
