China Southern Airlines has boosted its Perth service with the deployment of a new Airbus A330-200 aircraft to the Australian city.
Following the aircraft’s recent introduction to Brisbane, China Southern has now introduced the wide-body jet to Western Australia, offering passengers the option of fully flat-bed seats in first and business class, and personal seat-back in-flight entertainment in all three cabins.
“We offer Western Australians direct access to our extensive domestic network and onward travel to nearly 200 destinations around the world. And with the brand new A330-223s on the Perth run the journey from Perth to Guangzhou has become even more enjoyable,” said China Southern’s regional general manager for Australia & New Zealand, Henry He.
“In the second half of this year, too, Guangzhou will offer Australians flying on our Canton Route to Europe and the rest of the world the chance to stop over in Guangzhou without a visa for up to 72 hours, bringing the city in line with Beijing and Shanghai.”
China Southern currently operates three weekly flights between Perth and Guangzhou, making it the only airline to fly direct between China and Western Australia.
