China has launched a new tourism marketing campaign that will see images of the country displayed on the sides of tourist buses in Paris. The 14 red tourism buses started operating in the French capital this month, depicting images such as the Great Wall of China, the ‘Monkey King’ Sun Wukong, and Chinese dragons. The double-decker buses will display the promotional images from 1-14 February. The move is aimed at further boosting the rising numbers of French tourists visiting China. Around 512,700 French holidaymakers flew to China in 2010, up 21% from 2009, according to China National Tourism Administration.
