Following the recent launch of its inaugural “Dream Journey” to Tahiti, China’s Deer Jet has partnered with Waldorf Astoria to offer ultra-luxury private jet holidays to Europe.
Under the new arrangement, Deer Jet will offer well-heeled Chinese travellers the chance to fly from Hong Kong to Paris and Rome, and stay for seven nights at the Waldorf Astoria hotels in these two European capitals.
Accommodation will be in highest suite categories of each hotel and guests will be offered a range of private tours and experiences, such as the visits to the cities’ museums, art galleries and top restaurants.
Deer Jet took over the management of the Hong Kong-based Dream Jet in September 2016. The company currently operates one Boeing 787 Dreamliner private jet, featuring a 220m² cabin with private spaces for guests, crew and service staff. But it is planning to add a second Dreamliner in the near future and eventually intends to operate “the largest Dream Jet fleet in the world”.
The partnership between Deer Jet and with Waldorf Astoria is born out of HNA Group’s recent investment in Hilton Worldwide. HNA, the rapidly-expanding Chinese travel and tourism conglomerate, is the owner of Deer Jet and the largest shareholder in Hilton – the parent company of Waldorf Astoria.
