Spring Airlines has launched a new in-flight Wi-Fi service on some of its domestic flights.
Launched on 18 July, the new offering will allow passengers to connect to the internet via their mobile devices and laptops on Spring’s daily flights between Shanghai and Xiamen, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
The low-cost carrier has initially equipped two of its Airbus A320 aircraft with Wi-Fi, and plans roll out the service to more aircraft in future.
Spring Airlines becomes the fifth Chinese airline to offer in-flight Wi-Fi, following Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines and China Southern Airlines.
