CityJet has taken over flights from Cardiff to Paris and Glasgow after Flybe dropped the routes.
CityJet, which is part of the Air France group, will start operating the routes on 20 January 2014, a day after Flybe stops serving on 19 January.
The Cardiff to Paris flights will run daily on weekdays and on Sundays, while Glasgow will be served twice daily in the week and daily at weekends.
Then in 30 March CityJet will add a thrice-daily service from Cardiff to Edinburgh during the week, with one flight on Saturdays and two on Sunday.
Services from Cardiff to Jersey will also run five times a week.
“We’re very excited to be launching a dynamic new network from Cardiff, and are thrilled to introduce the CityJet service to Wales. We are confident that our network and schedule to these four new destinations will be a success – both for the Welsh community and for CityJet,” said the airline’s chief executive Christine Ourmières.
“We’re really pleased to be working with the team at Cardiff Airport as we share a common commitment to provide convenient, hassle-free travel to popular destinations throughout the UK and Europe. Like them, we’re expanding our network and are focused on offering choice for both business and leisure travellers, and providing the service the community wants and needs,” she added.
Tickets for the new routes will go on sale in January.
