European Waterways has become an executive partner of CLIA UK & Ireland.
The hotel barging company aims to strengthen its trade relationships under the CLIA membership and to increase sales of its holidays.
European Waterways was set up in 1974 and offer six-night all-inclusive cruises with only six to 20 passengers onboard at a time.
“We are delighted to be joining CLIA as an Executive Partner as it will certainly help us to work more closely with the UK & Irish travel agent community,” said Derek Banks, managing director of European Waterways. “Currently, many of our passengers come from overseas and I am sure our new CLIA accreditation will help us communicate more effectively with travel agents and their clients about the wonderful world of hotel barging.”
