Fresh from its recent takeover by a Chinese company, Club Med has unveiled its fourth all-inclusive resort in China.
The new Club Med Sanya offers 384 sea-facing rooms and a private beach in China’s most popular seaside resort.
Facilities include two restaurants, three bars, an outdoor pool and spa with 10 treatment rooms, plus a variety of watersports and children’s activities such as trapeze classes, a sailing school, and walking and hiking sessions.
Open all-year-round, the new resort becomes the fourth Club Med in China, following existing properties on an island off the coast of Guangdong province, the ski resort of Yabuli in Heilongjiang province, and the scenic countryside of Guilin, in the Guangxi region.
And a fifth Chinese resort is also expected to open in December 2016. Chinese conglomerate Fosun acquired France’s Club Med for approximately US$1 billion in 2015.
