Fresh from the news that Columbia Beach Resort has added a purpose built activity programme for pre-teens and adolescents, the Cyprus-based property has now announced it has expanded its leisure and experience offering with new scuba diving trips and courses.
Working in collaboration with Cyprus Diving Adventures, the resort will give guests the opportunity to participate in five-star PADI-certified diving courses. With accreditation available for all experience levels from newbees to seasoned veterans of the depths, the resort is able to customise the underwater expeditions to the needs of the diver.
Guests that sign up to a dive expedition can expect quality diving, safe instruction and a personalised experience as Cyprus Dive Adventures only work on an individual or small group basis, taking groups of only two to four people with the same experience levels out onto the water.
Dive sites across Cyprus are varied and exciting with sites ranging from wrecks – including the world-famous Zenobia Wreck – reefs, walls, caverns, caves and arches. Accessible via the shore or by boat, the Mediterranean waters are warm, offer good visibility and an abundance of marine life. Daily trips are available to Paphos, Limassol, Latchi, Akamas and of course from direct from the Columbia Beach Resort at Pissouri Bay.
All equipment is provided by the diving company, who will visit Columbia Beach Resort to discuss all diving needs and book the excursion, as well as provide transportation to and from the chosen location on the day. Even non-divers can join the excursion and enjoy a beach day of sunbathing and snorkelling.
Scuba excursions with Cyprus Dive Adventures are bookable upon arrival at the resort via the guest services team. Golf, cycling, watersports, tennis and squash, boat trips, sailing lessons, horse-riding, and nature walks are all also available.
