Delegates leaving the Institute of Travel & Tourism’s (ITT) conference in Malta are currently facing long queues and delays at the airport after a computer failure.
Travel Daily Media’s associate publisher James Air described the airport as ‘chaotic’ after a system failure caused computers to crash and check-in to come to a standstill.
He and others said they could not check-in their bags and large queues were forming as more people arrive.

ITT’s conference sessions finished with a speech by UKIP’s Nigel Farage yesterday afternoon.
