The construction of Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort Hotel is on track for completion in December 2013, as per official authorities. The project has progressed steadily with over 300 employees working on building the substructure and superstructure of the 86 luxury room resort hotel.

Eng Wael bin Ahmed Al Lawati, CEO of Omran said, “The interior of the hotel will reflect the rich Omani architecture while the exterior will be adorned with the mountain rock to accentuate the façade of the building.”

The hotel is also being constructed to meet world recognized LEED certification requirements which demonstrates the project’s environmental and energy efficient features. Omran has also worked very closely with the community and local schools to maintain the fragility of Al Jabal Al Akhdar eco-system through an anti-littering campaign to promote environmentally friendly behavior in addition to planting of olive trees.
