A series of business road shows has resulted in positive optimism for the Coral Al Khobar Hotel.
The property expects that the hotel’s overall occupancy will rise significantly following the sales teams’ aggressive campaign in national and regional cities.
Michel H Mandrea, general manager of Coral Al Khobar Hotel, said: “We are looking at an 80% occupancy during the coming weeks, 65% of this traffic will come from corporate business, while remaining guests will be weekenders from various parts of KSA.”
The hotel’s sales and marketing team recently showcased its facilities in Riyadh (KSA), Doha (Qatar) and Kuwait.
Michel was also upbeat as industry experts predicted bright future for hotel industry. The Colliers International, which recently launched the MENA Hotel Market Forecast, has emphasised that the Saudi Arabia hospitality sector has been witnessing strong growth. According to a full year forecast predicted by the company, overall occupancy rate in Al Khobar hotels will increase four per cent to reach 67% in 2015.
