Corinthia Hotels unveils new MICE sales team

Corinthia Hotels has appointed a new UK-based Conference & Incentives team.
Janet Broomfield takes on the role of group director of Sales UK – Meetings & Events, while Alessia Cappuccini joins as Corporate & MICE sales manager.
Jane Colbeck-McKinnon will support their work in her role as regional sales coordinator. Working closely with Corinthia’s director of Global Corporate & MICE Sales, Carey Duckworth, the team will focus on working with key UK MICE agencies, partners, Direct Event & Meeting corporates, and associations and special events.
Janet has more than 15 years’ experience working within the hospitality sales industry and joins Corinthia Hotels from her previous role as director of Global Sales, Conference and Incentives at Rocco Forte Hotels. Prior to that, she held several senior positions at Marriott International, Jumeirah International and Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts.
Alessia has a strong background in hotel sales – a graduate of Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, Alessia has previously worked at the Orient Express Group and Hilton Worldwide. In her previous role as Corporate & MICE Sales manager with Hilton Worldwide, Alessia was in charge of overseeing the four Hilton properties in their London City Cluster.
Jane comes from a background in MICE sales and has been based both in the UK and the Middle East. She joins the team as Regional Sales coordinator, and she will support Janet and Alessia’s work with key UK clients to promote the Corinthia brand.
