Cruise visits to Guernsey on the rise

Guernsey has seen a 45% increase in cruise visits during the last three years with a further rise expected moving into next year.
Sixty two ships visited the island in 2012 which went up to 84 last year and 90 in 2014. Overall a 81% increase will cover 2012-2015 when the calls reach 112 next year.
So far this year 96, 134 people have disembarked onto the island from cruise ships, close to the 110, 040 total seen in all of 2013.
This was increase next year when ships including Anthem of the Seas, Britannia and Celebrity Silhouette visit.

Flourishing disembarkations, which rise each year, are testimony to Guernsey’s fantastic offering for cruise visitors and inspire future bookings for longer land based holidays to Guernsey.”
