Crystal Cruises has revealed the newest addition to its air fleet, ahead of the launch of its Crystal Luxury Air venture.
The new Bombardier Global Express XRS jet is configured to accommodate 12 passengers in three cabins – a business section, lounge area and sleeping quarters. The front cabin features four seats with fold-out tables for dining or meetings, while the mid cabin is configured for conferences with seating for five and a workstation.
The rear cabin offers a three-person couch that can be transformed to a large bed. The aircraft features a galley with a fridge, oven, microwave and Nespresso machine, and also comes equipped with a 31.5-inch LCD TV, high-speed internet and in-flight phone services.
“Crystal Luxury Air will open tremendous possibilities for luxury travellers seeking the next level of ease and exclusivity during their journeys,” said Crystal’s president & CEO, Edie Rodriguez.
“And in the spirit of all things Crystal, and ensuring we offer customisation to our guests, Crystal Luxury Air allows our travel agent partners and guests the ability to truly customise their vacation experiences to privately fly to combine our cruise, yacht, river, residence, and air experiences.”
Chartered flights aboard Crystal’s new jet are now open for booking. The company will also add a Boeing 777 to its fleet in 2017 and a B787 Dreamliner in 2018.
