Ultra luxury specialist Crystal Cruises will run a series of wine and food themed voyages in 2014, including a specially prepared microbrewing sailing.
The cruises, which will cover Asia, the South Pacific, the US & Caribbean as well as a Trans-Atlantic crossing, will run from January through to November on both the Crystal Symphony and Serenity.
“Our Wine & Food cruises have been one of our most successful and longest running themes,” explained Philip Ordever, vice president, international sales & marketing. “With our new programme expansions, guests now have even more to love: more beverages, more flavours, more enlightenment about foreign cultures, and more intimate experiences with our culinary experts.”
Details are yet to be finalised but names that have been confirmed include Thrainn Freyr Vigfusson, recent Icelandic Chef of the Year and Bocuse d’Or finalist and Stephen Beaumont, co-author of The World Atlas of Beer.
