Crystal Cruises has revealed early details of its 2015 World Cruise.
The voyage, which will mark the company’s 20th World Cruise and Crystal Cruises’ 25th anniversary, will feature a brand new route: a full circumnavigation of the globe starting and finishing in Miami.
Getting underway on 15 January 2015, the 108-day voyage aboard the Crystal Serenity liner will consist of six all-inclusive segments across four continents. The first section will be a 16-day sailing from Miami to Lima, through the Panama Canal, which will be followed by a 19-day trans-Pacific segment to Auckland. From here, the ship will undertake a 21-day cruise to Perth, and then another 21-day voyage to Cape Town. Crystal Serenity will then sail to Rio de Janeiro on a 15-day voyage, before a final 16-day leg takes the ship back to Miami.
“For our 20th World Cruise, travellers can expect an especially spectacular addition to their personal bank of once-in-a-lifetime memories, with popular cultural capitals and off-the-beaten-path jewels that appeal to both our loyal regulars and those new to us,” said Crystal’s President, Gregg Michel.
“Add the hands-on world education, the bonding among guests, easy country-hopping, and luxurious home base of Crystal Serenity to the round-trip Miami circumnavigation and 25th anniversary celebrations, and this is sure to be one of the finest global explorations any adventurer could ever experience,” he added.
Itinerary highlights in the Asia Pacific region will include trips to Sydney, Melbourne and Albany in Australia, as well as the New Zealand capital Wellington. It will also call at the South Pacific islands of Bora Bora and the Cook Islands.
