A surge of Gulf travellers to Europe is expected, according to experts, thanks to the rallying dollar against the Euro.
With a 17% increase against the European currency over the last year, trips to the continent are proving good value for those travelling from dollar and dollar-pegged countries.
“Travellers can get more value for their money and spend more,” Manu Mehrotra, general manager at Al Tayer Travel Agency told reporters.
Of course the opposite effect is felt for those based in countries with the Euro that are looking to travel to dollar-pegged regions such as the Gulf.
