Three of Dorsett’s hotels in Hong Kong have started offering free smartphones to guests for the duration of their stay.
The Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong, Cosmo Hotel Hong Kong and Dorsett Mongkok will now equip all guest rooms with the ‘Smart Handy Phone’, offering 24 hours of free 3G internet, unlimited local calls and international calls up to five countries: the US, UK, Australia, Singapore and China.
“We want to ensure our guests 24-hour internet connectivity whenever wherever they are, so this is where handy phone comes into play,” said Anita Chan, general manager of the three hotels.
“This handy phone is… designed for tourists of all ages. It is lightweight and like everyone else mobile phone, you can bring in and out the hotel as you like. We believe it will greatly enhance our guests travel experience, bringing them greater convenience and significant cost savings,” she added.
As well as 3G and mobile phone connectivity, the smartphones come loaded with information including maps, a Hong Kong city guide and discounts for dining, retail outlets and attractions.
