Thai hotel group Dusit has continued its international expansion with the signing of its first ever property in Vietnam.
Following the recent launch of its first hotel in the US, and the signing of its inaugural resort in Australia, the company has now signed a management contract to operate a beachfront hotel in the popular Vietnamese resort town of Nha Trang.
Scheduled to open late 2016, the property will include 266 hotel rooms, suites and bungalows, along with 117 apartments and 56 residential villas. Overlooking Cam Rahn Bay, the luxury resort will also include a spa, sports centre and swimming pools.
“Our launch into Vietnam marks an exciting milestone for Dusit International. Cam Ranh is an up and coming beach lover’s resort destination. The peninsula and natural harbours there offer visitors calm waters surrounded by mountains and great weather conditions,” said Chanin Donavanik, managing director & CEO of Dusit International.
“We believe that our Dusit Thani brand and trademark warm, gracious hospitality are a great fit for the market. The facilities will surely make the complex a destination not to be missed as well as pave the way for Dusit’s future expansion into the country.”
Dusit now operates 24 hotels in nine countries. But it is expanding rapidly and now has a pipeline of more than 20 new hotels, including international properties in China, Singapore, Australia, the Philippines, India, Qatar and now, Vietnam.
