THE MARKET
In the first year of operation, we expect that we will target 20% of our business from the leisure market. This hotel will certainly compliment our two products – Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara and Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara. The hotel is a perfect mix of city buzz and natural splendors. There is approximately 8.5 kilometers of mangroves around the property and authorities have planted an additional 60,000 seeds of mangroves along the coast.
With Germany being our number one inbound market, we would look at the UAE as are local source market. In this regard, we will expect around 60-70% of our business in year one from just the UAE driven business. In year two and three, we would look at numbers increasing from international markets grows as our distribution gets larger. We would look at the regular countries such as Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the GCC as our primary source market.
