Thailand’s Absolute Hotel Services has unveiled plans to bring its upscale Eastin brand to Chiang Mai.
The company currently operates four Eastins in Thailand – two in Bangkok, on in Phuket and one in Pattaya – but the Eastin Tan Hotel Chiang Mai will mark the brand’s entry into northern Thailand.
Scheduled to open in December 2014, the new property will be located on Huay Kaew Road, close to the Nimanhemin Road shopping and entertainment area. It will feature 129 rooms and suites ranging from 33-177m², all featuring free Wi-Fi.
Other facilities include a restaurant, gym with sauna and steam, swimming pool and a 390m² meeting room.
“We are very excited to add one more hotel in Chiang Mai in such another booming location as Chiang Mai to serve the growing demand to the destination from domestic, Southeast Asia and China,” said Jonathan Wigley, Absolute’s CEO.
As well as the four existing Thai properties, Eastin properties are also present in India, Vietnam and Oman.
