easyJet has announced its first service into Norway with a new route between Gatwick and Bergen.
The route will operate daily with bookings open from today. The airline said it expects to carry more than 100,000 people on the route annually.
“The addition of Bergen will see easyJet flying more than half a million passengers between the UK and Scandinavia, and will take the total number of routes served from Gatwick to 101 across 27 countries,” said Paul Simmons, UK director at easyJet.
The announcement comes as Norwegian Airlines gears up to opening its first UK base…at Gatwick.
