easyJet has been forced to cancel some of its flights to and from Italy after cabin crew announced a strike.
Italian cabin crew will take industrial action all day tomorrow (8 October), with flights to and from all Italian airports to be affected.
The airline said customers will be contacted by email and SMS if their flight is affected and they can transfer to another service or get a full refund.
Those with the airline’s app have been encouraged to subscribe to push notifications for real-time updates.
Earlier this week the Italian Ministry of Transport announced a series of strikes in the rail, air and sea sectors throughout October and November.
These could specifically affect services on 24 October, 29 October and 14 November.
