As we see the cruise sector making waves this year, Emerald Waterways announced the release of its 2019 collection, showcasing new itineraries and packages along the majestic Danube.

Emerald Waterways was founded in 2013, with a goal of catering to a new demographic of river cruise travellers.

“Guests have already been eager to book their 2019 river cruise with us, since the launch of our Preview Brochure earlier in the year. And we hope that this enthusiasm will continue with the launch of our 2019 Main Edition European River Cruises Brochure, which includes two new eight-day Danube River itineraries: Classic Danube and Lower Danube Waltz, alongside four new combination river cruises,” added Winterton.

The Classic Danube cruise will sail from Nuremberg to Vienna, while the Lower Danube Waltz will sail from Vienna to Belgrade. In addition to these new itineraries, Emerald Waterways has also introduced a new collection of combination cruises. The four new combination cruises include: 23-day Amsterdam to Bucharest, 16-day Treasures of the Danube, 15-day Three Rivers Discovery and 15-day Rhine & Rhône.
