Emirates has announced that it will introduce a fifth daily flight between Dubai and Singapore this summer.
Commencing on 1 August 2014, the new direct service will operate using a 364-seat Boeing 777-300 aircraft, with 12 seats in first class, 42 in business class and 310 in economy.
The new flight EK352 will depart Dubai daily at 2115, arriving in Singapore at 0900 the next morning. The return flight, EK353, will depart Singapore at 1035 and arrive back into Dubai at 1345.
“The introduction of our fifth daily service between Dubai and Singapore is a reflection of the growing passenger demand for flights between these two important global business, trade and tourism hubs,” said Barry Brown, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president of commercial operations.
“The increased frequency will give our customers greater flexibility in their travel plans allowing them to connect seamlessly to other flights on Emirates’ extensive global network,” he added.
Following the launch, Emirates will offer 35 weekly flights between Dubai and Singapore, including 28 non-stop services and seven flights operating via Colombo. The airline also flies daily from Singapore to Brisbane and Melbourne.
