Emirates adds more capacity to Tunisia

Emirates recently announced its intent to increase capacity on its Tunisian service with the introduction of a larger Boeing 777-300 aircraft. The new deployment will commence from 2 June 2016.
The Boeing 777-300 will replace the current Airbus A340-300 used on the route. The new aircraft has 12 seats in first class, 42 in business class and 310 seats in economy class.
Since 29 October 2006, when the first service to Tunis was inaugurated, Emirates carried over 2.2 million passengers and more than 50,000 tonnes of cargo to date. The airline currently operates five weekly flights to Tunis. EK 749 departs Dubai every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 0725hrs and arrives in Tunis at 1050hr. The return flight, EK 749 departs Tunis at 1230hrs and lands in Dubai at 2350hrs.
