Emirates will operate a daily service to Luanda commencing 1 December 2013 with the addition of four extra flights per week.
The move to daily flights will add just over 1,600 more seats per week. To meet increased demand, the aircraft was upgraded to a Boeing 777-200 ER and seven months thereafter to the current Boeing 777-300 ER.
“The increase in flights to a daily service is a clear indication of the route’s success and its future growth potential. The time is right to start a daily service,” said Orhan Abbas, Emirates senior vice president, Commercial Operations Latin America, Central and Southern Africa.
EK 793 leaves Dubai at 1040hrs and arrives in Luanda at 1535hrs. The return flight, EK 794, departs Luanda at 1820hrs, touching down in Dubai eight hours later at 0445hrs. The Boeing 777-300 ER features eight luxurious First Class private suites, 42 in Business Class and 310 passengers in Economy Class.
