Emirates airline Dubai Stopover Programme reaches its one-year mark in Egypt. In 2011 the hotel and sightseeing package witnessed an increase of 55% in number of travellers compared to the previous year.
The Dubai Stopover Programme offers hotel stays, and passengers can choose from a full range of hotels and apartments – in the city or on the beach, self-catered to six-star luxury. Egyptians have booked a variety of accommodations as part of the programme with Fairmont Dubai being picked as the best selling luxury hotel, Novotel Deira City Centre for the four-star category and Ibis Al Barsha for its value for money.
The Stopover program is available to all Emirates passengers and combinable with all fares. It is not restricted to any specific class of travel.
