Emirates flies A380 to Guangzhou

Emirates has unveiled plans to deploy its largest aircraft, the Airbus A380, on its Dubai-Guangzhou route.
Effective 1 October 2016, Guangzhou will become the third city in mainland China to welcome the A380, following Beijing and Shanghai. Emirates also flies the double-decker jet to Hong Kong and Taipei.
Since it launched the route in 2008, Emirates has served Guangzhou daily using a two-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The deployment of a three-class A380 on the route will increase capacity on the route by 15%.
The A380 used on the Guangzhou route will be able to carry a total of 491 passengers, with 14 seats in first class, 76 in business class and 401 in economy. Flight EK362 will depart Dubai International Airport at 1020 and arrive in Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Airport at 2205. The return flight, EK363, will then depart the Chinese city at 0015 and arrive back in Dubai at 0350.
Emirates currently serves five destinations in mainland China: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Yinchuan and Zhengzhou. The airline’s A380 fleet now operates to more than 40 global destinations.
