Emirates is concluding another successful year as the official airline of the European Tour and with the DP World Championship just getting underway in Dubai.

The airline is again bringing together golf’s top players to the ‘Race to Dubai’.

Boutros Boutros, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president, corporate communications, marketing and brand said: “The DP World Championship is an event that helps us to engage with golf fans worldwide. We are proud to have this event since 2009 in Dubai, which has become a sought after destinations for golf with its courses.”

Over 12,500 shots have been recorded by winners of the 2015 European Tour and over seven million range balls have been hit by European Tour players in the last year.

Beyond the European Tour, Emirates sponsors Emirates Australian Open, Australian PGA Championship, Indonesia PGA Championships and Boeing Classic on the PGA Champions Tour in America.
