In light of the upcoming holy month, Emirates has introduced several initiatives for its customers observing the fast during Ramadan.
The airline has developed a special Iftar meal service – a small snack boxes offered at the boarding gates of Terminal 3. The large Iftar meal boxes will be served to passengers in-flight. Subsequently, Emirates in conjunction with the Dubai Astronomy Group has developed a unique tool to calculate the correct timings for Imsak and Iftar while in-flight.
This new tool was developed to supplement Emirates’ annually produced booklet on the timings for Ramadan, available on every flight.
