The upcoming weekend for Emirates is expected to be packed with high passenger traffic.
Starting 23 March 2016, over 115,000 travellers will be passing through Emirates Terminal 3, with consistent high passenger loads from Dubai also expected on 27 and 28 March 2016.
In a bid to make passenger journey more convenient, Emirates has extended its online check-in to 48 hours before departure, a full day early than 24 hours previously. Customers can now check in online on both their desktops and mobile devices from 48 hours to 90 minutes before flight departure. (For United States-bound flights, boarding passes will only be issued 24 hours in advance).
In addition to online check-in services, the airline has car park check-in facilities, which operate around the clock at Dubai International Airport. Equipped with 16 check in counters, customers can check in and drop their luggage at the car park check-in facilities from 24 hours to six hours prior to departure.
