Emirates has launched in-flight mobile phone services onboard its Airbus A380 aircraft.
In partnership with OnAir, all passengers aboard the airline’s 25 A380s will now be able to make or receive phone calls and SMS text messages while flying. The move follows last year’s launch of Wi-Fi services on Emirates’ A380s.

Emirates continues to invest in the most innovative technology possible and promises to keep pushing the boundaries of the in-flight innovation for the benefit of our passengers.”
All of Emirates’ existing and future 517-seat A380s will be equipped with the mobile technology.
